Music composer Finneas O’Connell, through social networks, defends his sister Billie Eilish, who was accused of being a predator for her verse in the remix of Charli XCX‘s song ‘Guess‘ where she makes some insinuations.
The 22-year-old singer has a line in her new collaboration where she says, “Charli likes boys, but she knows I’d hit it”, and then adds, “Call me if you’re with it“. This prompted a TikTok user to comment, “Billie’s verse on ‘Guess’ is high-key predatory, but y’all blinded by her usual queerbaiting for commercial gain“.
The user continued, “She’s been reducing girls to mere objects, all in an effort to convince the masses that she’s actually into them lol. Charli is 32 and engaged FYI“, Finneas responded to the comment by calling the user criticizing his sister a ‘Clown’.
Later, Billie Eiliah’s brother said, “I got to watch the entire internet slam my sister for queer-baiting for an entire year when in reality, you were all forcing her to label and out herself“, showing that he was angry and in complete disagreement with what the internet netizens were saying.
