Zac Efron was taken to the hospital after a swimming pool accident in Ibiza, Spain as reported by the Mirror and Deadline. The “High School Musical” superstar was found by two staff members who pulled him from the water in the villa where he was staying.
The incident took place on Friday night, with the actor receiving medical attention immediately. Fortunately, one of Zac Efron’s representatives confirmed that the incident was “minor” and that he was hospitalized as a precautionary measure. Later this Saturday, the actor was released and seems to be recovering well after the incident.

This scare comes months after the actor’s success in the wrestling drama “The Iron Claw,” released in December 2023 under A24. The film recently premiered on Max, becoming one of the top films on the platform.
