Meet Meghan Markle’s BFF and Pilates guru Heather Dorak

Meghan Markle has credited Pilates as the reason for her lean physique, making this activity the go-to workout for her. But guess what? She’s not alone in this, and her bestie Heather Dorak knows that well! This exercise is likely what brought both women together, as they probably met at Heather’s studio, Pilates Platinum.

The pair has been close since 2006, and have shared some athletic pictures working out together. Unsurprisingly, Heather Dorak is a major sports guru in the United States, owning six Platinum Pilates studios: two in Texas and four in California. Just like royalty, the studio has two major rules: “No jewelry,” possibly due to the movements this workout requires, and “No strong perfumes” to avoid allergies.

Meghan Markle has previously gushed over the Megaformer Pilates machine, which has a moving platform and springs for resistance. Speaking about it, the Duchess of Sussex detailed that it can immediately change your body post-workout, saying that two classes make the difference:

“[It’s] hands down the best thing you could do for your body. Your body changes immediately…give it two classes and you will see a difference.”

Unfortunately, the studio has been recently attacked by an unknown vandal. In a recent post shared by the owner, a picture with a smashed floor-to-ceiling glass window can be seen. The mother of two has not yet announced if she will lend a helping hand to her best friend, but some speculate she could be heartbroken after her favorite studio was damaged.
