Finally, after a long wait, the official premiere date of ‘Squid Game‘ season 2 has been confirmed with a brief trailer that gives us a sneak peek of what will be seen in this sequel to Netflix‘s most successful franchise.
The second season of ‘Squid Game’ will officially premiere on December 26th, 2024. The series’ writer and director, Hwang Dong-hyuk, teased, “Seong Gi-hun who vowed revenge at the end of Season 1 returns and joins the game again. Will he succeed in getting his revenge?“.
Everything seems to indicate that the long wait will be worth it, as he also confessed that the series during the second season will have an open ending; “Front Man doesn’t seem to be an easy opponent this time either”
