King Charles III’s 2024 has been a rollercoaster of emotions for all the royal followers and the Royal Family. After being diagnosed with an unspecified form of cancer, and subsequentl undergoing treatments, the king is still standing strong to fulfill his duties as the Monarch of the United Kingdom.
Several royal experts indicated that King Charles III won’t step down as King despite of his health struggles in benenift of their grandchildren, Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte and Prince George. Although there were rumors about the King abdicanting the throne, time was in charge of dismissing the speculations one by one.
King Charles III reportedly wants to ensure his grandchildren can enjoy childhood free of royal pressures. The king doesn’t want Prince William to be torn away from his family while his children are still so young.
Jennie Bond, former BBC royal correspondent addresed the situation by indicating that this is the perfect time for King Charles III to make his mark as the king, and also protect the youth of his grandchildren.
“William, with three young children, would not welcome the extra responsibility of Kingship just yet. His time will come soon enough.”
