While it is true that they have proven to have a good father-son relationship, it has also become clear that they have some differences, as King Charles III reportedly forced Prince William to sign a waiver following an issue about helicopter use.
Royal expert Robert Jobson said in his new book, “After being diagnosed with cancer, King Charles—perhaps reminded of his own mortality—echoed his late mother’s concerns” in reference to Queen Elizabeth II’s opposition to family helicopter travel.
“Charles insisted that he sign a formal document, acknowledging the risks involved and taking full responsibility for his actions“, Jobson said, adding, “It would be scant consolation, of course, for an unspeakable tragedy, let alone for the prospect of King Harry and Queen Meghan“.
Although the discussion is initially between Prince William and King Charles III, Kate Middleton also comes to the fore, since according to Jobson, “Is somebody who always tries to see both sides of any dispute” claiming that the Princess of Wales is “emotionally mature“.
