Okay, RIIZE stans, time to wave your lightsticks! That’s because our boys have finally dropped their debut Japanese single and music video, “Lucky.” Just six weeks after shaking up the K-pop scene with “Boom Boom Bass,” RIIZE is making a dazzling splash in the Japanese spotlight.
“Lucky” acts as a continuation of their groovy sound, which mixes funky beats with a catchy pop melody. The track plays on RIIZE’s most evident strengths and it holds similarities in sound to their previous releases, such as “Get a Guitar” or “Boom Boom Bass.”
In the video, the members stun with a colorful aesthetic, chic outfits, funny special effects, and of course, an infectious choreography. All members have different nicknames, with Wonbin as Star of Darkness Darkbin, Sungchan as Electronic Zephyr, Shotaro as Fire Tornado Hector, Anton as Healing Michael, Eunseok as Black Shadow, and Sohee as the Lord of Darkness.
