Prince Harry is throwing things back with the memory of his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. The Duke of Sussex is currently navigating ongoing legal battles, and he opened up about these struggles in a recent interview for ITV’s documentary Tabloids on Trial. The documentary premiered on July 25, and Prince Harry took the occasion to share the support he received from Queen Elizabeth before her passing.
The father of two reflected on the conversations they had, and revealed she was supportive of his current legal battle:
“We had many conversations before she passed, this is very much something she supported, she knew how much this meant to me. She is up there going, ‘See this through to the end,’ without question.”
The Duke of Sussex has been entangled in four lawsuits against newspaper publishers in the U.K. over allegations of phone hacking and other unlawful acts. He won against Mirror Group Newspapers in December 2023 and now he’s pursuing two ongoing civil cases against the publishers of The Mail and The Sun, both of which deny any unlawful information-gathering activities.
