Disney Pixar‘s new production ‘Inside Out 2‘ continues to make history after its debut in theaters as it officially surpasses ‘Barbie‘ in record time, achieving a new milestone at the box office and proving its popularity.
While the Mattel doll movie grossed an astonishing $1.445 billion during its theatrical release in the summer of 2023, making it the highest-grossing installment in recent years, the sequel to the animated franchise has already surpassed it, having grossed $1.447 billion since its release.
The surprising acceptance of ‘Inside Out 2’ has allowed it to break ‘Barbie’s historic record in only 41 days, and everything seems to indicate that the success for this production will not end there, as the summer is not over yet, so it will have enough time to continue making history on the big screen.
