According to Korean law, the use of the Red Cross emblem without authorization from the international organization can result in fines of up to ₩10 million KRW, about $7,200 USD. For his part, a representative of the entity confirmed they had not received any request for permission to use the symbol.
The agency had acknowledged the problem and shared an apology for fans and the Red Cross organization and is discussing measures to prevent this action from happening again: “We would like to extend our sincere apologies to all parties who were inconvenienced by this matter“.
