The sweet nickname Kate Middleton and Prince William gave George before he was born

Amid the celebrations for the 11th birthday of the next heir to the U.K. throne, it was revealed this is the sweet nickname Kate Middleton and Prince William gave their firstborn Prince George before he was born on July 22nd of 2013.

Two years later, on this historic day for the British monarchy, the royal expert Robert Jobson revealed in his book ‘The New Royal Family: Prince George, William, and Kate, the Next Generation‘ the nickname he received from the Prince and Princess of Wales when they were expecting him.

During the entire pregnancy, Prince William and Kate Middleton used to call Geoge “our little grape“, which proved their love for their first baby since the first time they knew they were expecting him, and without worrying about what would be his gender, they just felt love.

While the day arrived, Kate was preparing the temporary baby’s room in Nottingham Cottage, and William was set to begin his paternity leave from the RAF just like a modern father who wants to be by his wife’s side when she gives birth and create a strong bond with his firstborn in those first days.
