BTS V sparked controversy over McDonalds’ post

BTSV is one of the most beloved idols because of his particular charisma and talent. However, the K-Netizens punish iidols who indirectly support the BDS movement, and V wasn’t the exception after he posted a photo consuming a McDonalds’ product.

Taehyung sparked significant controversy within his fans, better known as ARMY, after sharing a series of photos on Instagram. In one of them, he featured a bag of McDonalds’ fries and triggered a lot of heated reactions.

ARMY was completely divided because a segment of his fans has been very vocal about BTS’ label, HYBE, distancing itself from any affiliation with the BDS movement. However, some fans wanted to punish V for not being aware of the consequences of his actions.
