Stray Kids have sparked a frenzy of speculation among their fans, also known as STAYs. The buzz? A possible cameo in Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s upcoming movie, “Deadpool & Wolverine.” Despite previous reports that indicate otherwise, some fans believe this is reverse psychology.
Recently, Brandon Davis hinted that Ryan Reynolds originally wanted Stray Kids in the movie, but the timing didn’t align. Still, some fans are convinced that this is a clever play to make them think the boy group will not appear in the Marvel film.
They are collecting different clues, thinking Stray Kids’ appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine could still be a thing. For example, the group’s latest hit “Chk Chk Boom” featured both Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the music video.
Not to mention, Stray Kids will also be included in the film’s soundtrack with the song “Slash,” officially dropping on July 26th. What’s more, both the Marvel stars and the K-pop group interacted extensively while promoting the movie in South Korea.
While there’s no official word on Stray Kids appearing in the movie, some fans think it is still happening and the speculation continues to grow. Catch the star-studded cameo in “Chk Chk Boom” and don’t forget to watch “Deadpool & Wolverine” on July 26th.
