Prince William’s sweet tribute to his wife ‘Colonel Catherine’ goes viral

After the current absence of the Princess of Wales, a video of Prince William‘s sweet tribute to his wife, Colonel Catherine, was recently published on social networks and quickly went viral as many internet users described it as tender.

On March 17, 2023, at the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Aldershot, England, Prince William gave a speech to pay tribute to his Kate Middleton, who has held the title of Royal Colonel of the British Army Regiment, the Irish Guards, since 2022, when the King granted her the position.

The viral video shows part of William’s speech saying, “I may be stepping aside, but in Colonel Catherine, you have a committed, focused and already incredibly loyal 11th Colonel”, while his wife stood by his side, listening and giving a shy smile.

The clip then goes on to show recordings of public engagements where the Prince and Princess of Wales have been, and it is evident that they both love each other very much; even netizens left comments such as, “They have every respect for each other. They fit perfectly” or “Such a beautiful couple“.
