Emma Watson is currently pursuing a master’s degree in creative writing at Oxford University. But what should be a peaceful return to academia turned into a horror movie. The Harry Potter Star recently faced a dangerous situation as a stalker has been seeking her out persistently.

The man, identified as Chad Michael Busto from the United States, was apprehended after locals alerted authorities about his inquiries regarding Emma Watson on June 26. Allegedly, the 44-year-old man came to the United Kingdom with just £800 and a sleeping bag. He expected to find the actor by loitering around the University of Oxford’s English department.

However, this is not the first time Busto has tried to get close to the “Harry Potter” protagonist. Last September, he was arrested in New York for allegedly breaking into a fashion show dressing room, loudly declaring his intention to marry Emma Watson. Back then, he was released without bail.

He told The Sun that his idea had been “taken out of context” and explained that he was just trying to get the actor’s attention, which he said “kind of work.” The artist-turned-student has not commented on the situation.
