Last Tuesday, the press was able to note that indeed Queen Camilla appeared with her ankle bandaged at a royal event after suffering a sprain during the two-day trip she was making with her husband, King Charles III.
The British monarchs were on a two-day tour of Jersey and Guernsey, self-governing island territories for which the United Kingdom is responsible, and it was during their visit to the Channel Islands and island of Guernsey that the Queen’s right ankle injury emerged.
Rhiannon Mills, royal correspondent for Sky News, revealed on the social network X, “Queen Camilla is wearing a bandage on her ankle because of an ankle sprain“. However, with the intention of not alarming the British people, she assured, “But she’s still on walkabout with the King in Guernsey“.
Knowing that the Queen is still on schedule is a good sign, as it is a sign that it is a fairly minor injury and that she does not need further medical assistance, allowing her to travel and fulfill her royal engagements as planned.
