Who would’ve thought? Prince George, the little future king, is a nickname that’s as British as a cup of tea! The eldest son of the Prince and Princess of Wales up the moniker “P.G. Tips,” which he earned during his time at school. And guess what? It has become a favorite in the royal household.

It all began at Thomas’ School, where classmates started calling him “P.G.” Pretty soon, that turned into “P.G. Tips,” after the famous British tea brand. Now, the creative nickname is “Tips,” when he’s with family and close friends.

An insider spilled the tea on Vanity Fair, saying that Prince George is just another kid at school despite his royal status. “He’s very popular and has a lot of friends, and there’s very little fuss made about who he is,” the source revealed.

But nicknames are a thing in the rest of the royal family, too! Prince Louis is affectionately known as “Lou Bugs,” while Princess Charlotte gets called “Poppet” or “Lottie.” Even King Charles isn’t immune—his sister, Princess Anne, fondly calls him “Old Bean.” While Prince George himself calls his dad “Pops.”
