Adele has dropped a bombshell for her fans—there’s no new music on the horizon! The iconic singer recently revealed her intentions to step back from the music scene after wrapping up her upcoming shows. That’s what the pop sensation told German outlet ZDF, spilling the tea on her future plans.
“I don’t have any plans for new music, at all. I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while.”

Adele seems to want this break post her exclusive Germany shows, which could take place after her performances at Munich Messe from August 2-24. This pause aligns with her previous comments about taking time off between albums. Let’s not forget the four-year wait we had between “21” and “25,” and the six-year hiatus before “30.” Yes, she’s doing it again…
The “Hello” singer also opened up about the negative side of fame, admitting she misses her pre-breakthrough life. While she hinted at a possible world tour for her next music era, (she has not officially toured the world since 2017) it’s clear that her new album will take some time before it even being dropped. The reason? Her struggle with fame and the desire to go anonymous again.
“I miss everything about before I was famous, I think probably being anonymous the most.”
We’re not having any new Adele bops soon, so stay tuned as she expands her creative horizons.
