The Prince of Wales is well known for his role as the President of the Football Association. England will face Spain in the highly anticipated game. The two leagues haven’t faced off against each other in major tournaments in men’s football since 1996.
However, Prince William might receive backlash because of the painful memoir over his decision not to attend the women’s World Cup final in Australia. The situation worsened for William by the fact that the Spanish Royal Family attended the match.
