(G)I-DLE members shock fans by revealing they nearly debuted with names of colors and animals

During a recent interview, the (G)I-DLE members shocked fans by revealing they nearly debuted with names of colors and animals, and even a different group name and whole different style for the K-Pop girl band.

Amid a conversation in the YouTube channel of the comedian Kim Dae Hee, the idols Miyeon and Minnie revealed their group would be named ‘Any Color‘. But that was not all, as all the members would be known as a combination of their favorite color and animal for their stage name.

If this entire interesting plan had been carried out, the 5 members would currently be known as: Miyeon as Green Crocodile, Minnie as Pink Mouse, Soyeon as Yellow Fish, Shuhua as White Butterfly, and Yuqi as Blue Sky.

However, the girl group finally took a different direction, receiving the name (G)I-DLE and a different vibe, with most of them using their real names, which currently helps them to become the successful k-pop group they are, getting many achievements and popularity around the world.
