Queen Camilla Parker has proven her right to be part of the Royal Family by being one of the most active members of the British Monarchy. Recently, the Queen paid a sweet tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace during a special event.
On July 11, the Queen hosted the reception for the winners of the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition at Buckingham Palace. She started her tribute by expressing how much the family misses her.
“I cannot begin without paying tribute to my dear mother-in-law, Her late Majesty, who is much in our thoughts today and who is so greatly missed by us all.”
On top of that, Camilla Parker also wanted to draw parallels between her late mother-in-law and Queen Elizabeth I in her speech. She explained she felt an immense comfort in the messages of condolence she and King Charles III received from the four corners of the world,
“They have reminded us that the written word has the unique ability to connect, to heal, to reassure, and to offer hope, even in the midst of grief.”
