King Felipe VI made a personal confession about his daughters, Leonor and Sofía, during his speech in Girona

This week during a speech, King Felipe VI‘s pride was evident when he made a personal confession about his daughters, Leonor and Sofía, that moved everyone present at the Princess of Girona 2024 Awards.

After Princess of Asturias gave her speech to highlight the qualities of the four award winners, her father stood up to hug her and take the opportunity to express his feelings publicly with a few words for that moment that was simply perfect.

“Hearing your words makes me proud as a King and excites me as a father. Leonor, Sofia, thank you“, Felipe said after listening to his firstborn’s speech and then added, “Your mother and I see you two every day, more responsible, more attentive, and more interested in what is happening in what we do as monarchy and how to help to make it better“.

There is no doubt that the king is completely proud of his daughters, and for that reason he does not miss any opportunity to make it known, either by dedicating a few words or with signs of affection that reflect the love and complicity between father and daughter, making it clear that he loves Leonor and Sofía both equally.
