This public appearance comes hot on the heels of explosive claims about Letizia’s alleged affair with her ex-brother-in-law, Jaime del Burgo.

Despite these rumors, King Felipe and Queen Letizia, who got married in 2004, were spotted looking upbeat and united. The royal couple, along with their daughters, attended a prestigious meeting with the winners of the Princess of Girona Foundation Awards, celebrating the organization’s 15th anniversary at the luxurious Melia Lloret de Mar Hotel.

In addition, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía went for a summer outfit with flowy white shirts, white pants, and matching espadrilles.

This special event follows journalist Jaime Peñafiel’s allegations in his book “Letizia’s Silence,” in which he claims that King Felipe was aware of Letizia’s alleged affair. Allegedly, the Queen consort cheated on the monarch with Jaime del Burgo, an accusation that traces back to a 2011 New York trip.
