King Charles lll recently added a luxurious 3,601-square-foot apartment at 111 W. 57th St to his property portfolio for $6,3 million. The flashy pad, located in New York, on the 11th floor of Steinway Hall, boasts three bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and jaw-dropping city views. IIn addition, the condo comes with access to an 82-foot two-lane swimming pool, private cabanas, a sauna, treatment rooms, a double-height fitness center, a private dining room, and a residents’ lounge with a sprawling balcony.
But despite this fancy purchase, it remains unclear who will actually enjoy the lavish place. The deed lists “His Majesty the King in Right of Canada, Represented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs” as the owner, hinting at a potential Canadian connection. The official document was signed by Robert McCubbing, senior trade commissioner at the Canadian consulate in New York.

This new condo comes as King Charles lll and the rest of the royal family have a feud with former royal members Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. While both parties have put distance between them, this acquisition sparks questions among royal fans. One thing’s for sure: with this purchase, King Charles lll adds a touch of luxury to his American state portfolio.
