It seems that due to certain commitments, Prince William has decided to leave Kate Middleton alone during what could be her second public appearance since her cancer diagnosis, which has been a heartbreaking gesture for royal supporters.
The Princess of Wales is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, and this coming Sunday will be the men’s singles final at Wimbledon. For the royal, this event is very important because since 2016 she has attended to present the awards. That is why she plans to attend if the doctors give her the go-ahead.
However, in the case of attending, Prince William will not be able to accompany her because, as patron of the Football Association of Great Britain, he has decided to support the England soccer team this coming Sunday in the final of Euro 2024, where they will face Spain. If the English team is victorious, it will be their first international trophy since 1966.
Undoubtedly, it is a difficult situation for the Prince and Princess of Wales, because there is no doubt that they would like to enjoy these events together; however, each one must fulfill their commitments separately despite the difficult situation they face, which is the high price of being a working member of the British monarchy.
