Hold onto your lightsticks, K-pop stans! NCT and EXO‘s agency, SM Entertainment, is spicing things up with a brand-new reality show, “Made in Korea: The K-Pop Experience,” now picked up by the BBC.
The reality show series will be divided into six parts and is set to take five UK contestants on the ride of their lives. The British participants will travel to South Korea for an intense 100-day K-pop training BootCamp, with dreams of becoming the next global boy band sensation.
Cameras will get behind-the-scenes access at SM Entertainment, an agency with big names such as NCT, EXO, Red Velvet, and aespa. With this, fans will get an insider look as the participants work with top-tier choreographers, hit songwriters, and K-pop gurus.
Put together by Moon&Back Media and SM Entertainment, with Kakao Entertainment America, this show is set to launch on BBC One and iPlayer this summer. Ready to see if these boys will follow in the footsteps of iconic SM Entertainment boybands like EXO, NCT, and Super Junior?
