In a video released by Buckingham Palace, it was revealed that King Charles III expressed his concern over the latest announcement by Prince William and Kate Middleton regarding Hurricane Beryl in the Caribbean.
On July 8th, when the West Indies Test cricket team arrived in the United Kingdom, the monarch met with them to welcome them and organize the upcoming Test match against England. He also took the opportunity to express his concerns about the damage caused by the hurricane.
After the meeting, the palace issued a statement saying, “The squad were joined by High Commissioners from across the Caribbean, which has been heavily affected by the devastation of Hurricane Beryl“, showing that they are aware of what has happened in the Caribbean.
King Charles III has shown empathy with countries that have suffered unavoidable natural tragedies and has educated his eldest son to follow in his footsteps, and this became evident after it was revealed that Prince William and Kate Middleton had donated millions of their personal money to help those affected by the hurricane.
