The renowned sports channel ESPN showed which side it is on by defending Prince Harry from criticism for winning the important Pat Tillman Award for the excellent work he has done over the years with the Invictus Games.
The Duke of Sussex is to be honored for his hard work with the Invictus Games, which celebrates the sporting achievements of wounded, sick, and injured servicemen, but thousands of people consider this unfair and are proposing a rethink as there are apparently more deserving recipients of the Pat Tillman.
A spokesperson for the ESPN network told Sky News, “While we understand not everyone will agree with all honorees selected for any award, The Invictus Games Foundation does incredible work and ESPN believes this is a cause worth celebrating“, thus demonstrating their support for Prince Harry.
While the final decision has not yet been made, nearly 60,000 signatures have been gathered in favor of the re-appointment, including that of the late Tillman’s mother, Mary, who believes the royal is undeserving of the honor despite having run the Invictus Games for wounded war veterans all these years.
