This was Travis Kelce’s ‘golden rule’ for performing with Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour

During the most recent episode of his podcast New Heights, Travis Kelce revealed that this was his “golden rule” for performing with his girlfriend Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour on stage in front of thousands of people and not letting her down.

The athlete confessed to his brother Jason what he was thinking while performing at the show: “The one thing I told myself was ‘Do not drop the baby“, letting it be known that the “golden rule” was “Do not drop Taylor, get her to the couch safe“, assuring that he only focused on that.

Travis Kelce said it was a sort of mantra taught to him by his former coach, Eric Bieniemy, who told them, “That ball has our dreams, goals and aspirations, You do not drop that ball“. However, he adapted it to his situation and kept repeating it while performing with Taylor Swift.

Despite his nerves, the end result was a success, and the athlete confirmed, “It was awesome, and I didn’t disappoint Taylor, so that’s all that really matters“. He also added that the show was very important, and in his mind, he kept repeating, “‘Travis do not f–k this up’ That was my number one goal. Do not drop Taylor, do not f–k this up’“.
