The Royal Family is reunited once again to celebrate the Royal Week in Scotland. Although Kate Middleton’s absence was the elephant in the room once more, the royals managed to make a great public appearance together, including Prince William, King Charles III, and Queen Camilla Parker, among others.
On July 3, the Prince of Wales, known as the Duke of Rothesay in Scotland joined the family for the Thistle Service at Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh during the Royal week. The order of the Thistle is the highest order of chivalry in Scotland, becoming the main event for the royal followers during this month.
The order recognizes 16 knights and Ladies for their contribution to national life and appointments are awarded as a personal gift from the reigning monarch, King Charles III. Previously, the King attended the ceremony of the Keys at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, where he accepted the keys to the city.
Prince Wiliam’s presence at the event was highly praised by the royal followers because he has had a rough journey since Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis. However, he knew how to manage and balance his personal life and royal duties, proving he is still worthy of becoming the monarch of the United Kingdom one day.
