Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might be gearing up for a holiday celebration with their adorable kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet for Independence Day. It would not be a surprise if the Sussexes decide to honor this important occasion, but will they be seen celebrating publicly? That’s the real question.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been calling Montecito, Santa Barbara home since 2020, after stepping down from their royal duties. Last year, they were spotted enjoying the Fourth of July parade in their hometown, with Harry carrying little Lilibet, who looked cute in a blue paisley-print dress. The family blended in with the Santa Barbara locals, seeing vintage cars and community floats roll by.
However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are known for keeping the public guessing. For example, in 2022 they swapped the Santa Barbara public scene for Jackson Hole Valley in Wyoming. Back then, the former royal family celebrated the Fourth of July with Meghan’s longtime friend, Heather Dorak. What’s more, fans seem to love Meghan Markle embracing her American roots with her family:

It’s clear this pair is all about embracing their new American lifestyle, and they’re passing down that tradition to their two children. Whether they’ll be out and about this holiday or keeping things private remains a mystery, but don’t be too surprised if the Montecito pair decides to make their plans public.
