Meghan Markle reportedly ordered Prince Harry to snub David Beckham, but he got revenge

According to Tom Bower’s new book ‘The House of Beckham: Money, Sex and Power‘, Meghan Markle would have ordered Prince Harry to snub David Beckham, causing him a snub that left the footballer in shame in front of thousands of people, but he took revenge years later.

Bower claims that in 2018, the Duke of Sussex invited the former soccer player to the Invictus Games, but revealed that at Markle’s behest “Photographs of the two together were forbidden” and added, “The royal snub was brutal. David Beckham was puzzled. Why did the prince refuse to meet him?” which marked the rupture of the friendship between the two.

For his revenge, the author said that David Beckham helped Prince William in 2022 eclipse Prince Harry’s event: “Beckham flew 7,600 miles from Qatar to Boston to join the new Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate, and President Joe Biden to celebrate the launch of the royals’ environmental Earthshot prize“.

He also wrote that “Harry and Meghan were seeking to wow Americans during an event in New York, but inevitably the Sussexes were overshadowed by the constellation [of celebrities] in Boston“. He concluded by saying, “Beckham had got his revenge for the Sydney snub“.
