Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties back in 2020 to live a calmer life in the United States with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. However, Harry’s nostalgia for his life in the United Kingdom might make him go back, despite the upcoming challenges in his homeland.
The Duke of Sussex holds himself back from relocating to the United Kingdom because he fears bringing his two young children to the United Kingdom would be an atrocious idea. The Prince is still fighting for taxpayer-funding security when he visits the United Kingdom, despite no longer being a working royal.
The GB News’ royal correspondent, Cameron Walker, shared his thoughts on Harry’s current situation and explained that the Prince cannot protect his family in the United Kingdom. The King can’t even extend his hand for help because of the taxpayers.
“He doesn’t feel his family is safe when they’re in the UK because they do not have police protection officers with the Metropolitan Police with him. So perhaps that is the main reason why Prince Harry isn’t bringing Meghan and Archie and Lilibet over to the UK because he can’t guarantee, he would say he can’t guarantee their safety.”
