Okay, K-pop lovers and gamers, get all eyes! That’s because there’s an ongoing rumor that aespa and the first-person shooter Valorant could collaborate. Yes, you read that right! According to Internet whispers from fans, the SM Entertainment quartet and the Riot video game might be joining forces.
These are the signs eagle-eyed fans have collected: first, the Episode 9 Act I Battlepass title is “Supernova,” titled just like one of aespa’s latest singles. In addition, the Dreamwings Bundle Wand seems to be a reference to aespa’s lightstick. Fans are also speculating that the girl group could sing the VCT Champions 2024 song since the event will be in Seoul this year.
As exciting as this might sound, let’s remember these are all Internet rumors! While all the info pretty much hints at aespa becoming the new Valorant queens, there is still no official confirmation. Meanwhile, the group recently dropped their 1st studio album “Armaggedon” and will soon release their Japanese debut song “Hot Mess.”
