King Charles III’s rumors about reconciliation with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have grown over the last few weeks because of the declarations he’d like to travel to the United States to meet his grandchildren. However, bringing them back to the British monarchy might not be under his control.
The royal expert, Cameron Walker discussed the chances of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex about returning to the royal family in a chat show on GB News. He explained that King Charles III was in a difficult position to extend his hand to the former royals due to the pressure from the taxpayers.
“In terms of becoming working members of the Royal Family again, I don’t think it would be up to King Charles. That’s a big problem because if they become working members of the Royal Family again, it’s taxpayers – it’s us as the public – who would have to pay for their security, the staff travel, and all the rest of it.”
Any desperate attempt from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to establish themselves in the United Kingdom as working members of the Royal Family might not happen. This is a low blow for the couple who cannot be supported by King Charles III or any member of the family.
