Meghan Markle clung to Prince Harry during an “awkward walkabout” with Prince William and Kate Middleton. It all happened after Queen Elizabeth II’s death, that’s according to a convo between GB News presenter Ellie Costello, GB News’ Royal Correspondent Cameron Walker, and GBNews.com’s Royal Editor Svar Nanan-Sen. The trio sat down to detail the events following the late Queen’s passing and the events following her death for the royal family members.
It turns out Costello was on the scene when the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, arrived to view the public’s messages and floral tributes at Windsor’s Castle. About that moment, Walker remarked that the public witnessed “two feuding brothers” coming together for a walkabout.
While Costello described the scene as an incredible outpouring of love for the late Queen, she could not help but notice the “awkward” vibe coming from Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. She said their reunion was not as heartfelt as expected, and affirmed the two women were having the weirdest vibes:
“If anyone was going to bring them together, it would be the late Queen Elizabeth – but it was an awkward walkabout… It really was. The awkwardness was mostly between the two women“
Costello later observed that “Meghan was holding on to Harry’s back and touching him a lot,” possibly due to the Oprah interviews and their Netflix docuseries. Then, she expressed that Kate Middleton seemed “stoic” and “steadfast.”
