Did Taylor Swift follow strict protocol to meet Prince William, Charlotte, and George?

After a photo was shared of the pop singer with the future monarch of the United Kingdom, many people have wondered if Taylor Swift followed a strict protocol to meet with Prince William, Princess Charlotte, and Prince George.

Although the pop star performed her concert in London, England, and William is part of the monarchy that rules in that country, there was no need to follow any kind of royal protocol for this meeting since the Prince of Wales was enjoying the concert with his family and it was not an official event.

Taylor Swift‘s brother-in-law, Jason Kelce, was also present during the meeting with the royalty and confessed that they received a warning of how to present themselves to William, but then added, “They said that because we weren’t at like an official royal event, we didn’t need to bow or curtsy“.

He also said, “If it would have been like an official meeting of royalty event, then it would have been that” but he wanted to be polite and revealed, “But I did still address him as Your Royal Highness“. Taylor’s boyfriend added to the conversation, “he was the coolest motherf*cker“, referring to William, and said good things about Charlotte and George.
