The director of what promises to be the MCU’s next big hit, Shawn Levy, confessed that it is the only thing Marvel has censored from its first adult movie titled ‘Deadpool & Wolverine‘ which will be released on July 26th.
“I’m so wary of what I can say, but certainly there were early conversations about overt drug use“, Levy said, later adding that cocaine was “the one thing [Marvel Studios head] Kevin [Feige] says is off the table“, proving that the franchise has given them plenty of creative freedom.
Director Shawn Levy of 'DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE' stated that overt drug use was strictly prohibited in the making of the film.
"And we thought that was an interesting conversation. Let’s actually write a dialogue scene about having had it."

However, Shawn Levy, in conspiracy with Ryan Reynods, decided to take advantage of a loophole in Marvel president Kevin Feige’s ban and revealed, “And we thought that was an interesting conversation. Let’s actually write a dialogue scene about having had it“, and it was later shown in the trailer that they added a scene about it.
Deadpool is sitting at a table next to his roommate, the old lady Blind Al, who mentions ‘Cocaine‘, and the superhero proceeds to ask him not to say that since that ‘is off limits‘ and, in response, receives a lot of euphemisms until he gets up and leaves the place.
