The royal family has been hit with yet another unfortunate health situation. This time, the palace informed that Princess Anne, King Charles lll’s only sister, suffered minor injuries and a concussion after an incident took place on the Gatcombe Park estate in southwest England. Emergency services quickly assisted the scene and the King’s sister was later hospitalized at Southmead Hospital for observation.

Princess Anne’s medical team has confirmed that her injuries, which were sustained on her head, were consistent with an impact from a horse’s head or legs. The Princess was transferred to the hospital accompanied by her husband, Vice Adm. Tim Laurence. In addition, all her royal engagements have been postponed until she’s fully recovered.
About the unfortunate event, British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard told Fox News Digital:
“She is comfortable and expected to make a full and swift recovery. However, I have to say it is not a good look having three senior working members of the royal family out of action.”
This incident strikes the royal family and it adds to the rough health situations they have been facing this year. With King Charles lll and Kate Middleton still under treatment for their respective cancer diagnosis, most of the royal weight falls on Queen Camilla Parker and Prince William’s shoulders.
