Stylist Annita Ruiz has confirmed that the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, underwent a two-hour make-up session before attending Trooping the Colour on June 15th in order to hide the effects of cancer treatment and not generate more speculation.
According to the stylist, the royal’s preparation took two hours due to the need for deep makeup, a wig, and eyebrow extensions to hide the side effects of the chemotherapy she has undergone over the past few months as part of her treatment.
All of the Princess of Wales accessories were meticulously chosen with the intention of distracting the eye from the areas of Kate’s body that might show collateral damage from the radiotherapy but without losing the elegance that characterizes the future queen.
Kate Middleton once again demonstrated her commitment to the British crown regardless of the adversities she faces by deciding to wear her best smile to be present at a royal engagement that for the British monarchy is very important, especially for her father-in-law, King Charles III.
