King Charles III ‘has had discussions’ on traveling to the United States to visit Archie and Lilibet

According to royal expert Tom Quinn, in recent months, King Charles III ‘has had discussions’ about traveling to the United States with the sole intention of visiting his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, whom he has not been able to see as often since their parents, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, moved to California.

For the monarch, the family relationship is very important, so Quinn explained, “It’s certainly possible that he would make a discreet private visit to Harry and the children in California. He is desperate to see them and hates the idea that Archie and Lili will not remember him as the warm, friendly grandfather he wants to be“.

But not everything is so simple since, according to the royal expert, “there are mountains of planning to be overcome before that becomes even a remote possibility“, but it would be nothing new for King Charles III, who in recent years has made very private visits to other countries.

The head of state has only been able to see his granddaughter Lilibet once in person, as she was born in the United States, and his grandson Archie he saw no more than some times while living in the United Kingdom. The King also finds it frustrating to maintain a relationship with Harry’s children through sporadic video calls.
