US Records executive Ray Kurzeka sparked outrage after making a comment that ARMYs deemed inappropriate on his social media about ‘MUSE‘, the new solo release of BTS‘ Jimin, and now fans are demanding answers about what happened.
While serving in the military, the K-Pop idol will be releasing his second solo album, with the release date set for July 19. His fans have taken to social media to request proper purchase channels from Big Hit Music, Universal Music Group, and Geffen Records.
However, their request was not answered; instead, Kurzeka, who currently holds the position of vice president and head of streaming at Geffen Records, posted on his social networks ‘song of the year‘, followed by a link to a song by Gracie Abrams featuring Taylor Swift, generating dissatisfaction among ARMYs.
Geffen Records is in charge of the distribution of HYBE’s albums and music in the United States. That’s why BTS fans expected to find information related to Jimin’s new release; however, they found Ray Kurzeka’s publication ignoring ARMY’s request and discrediting the Asian talent.
