In an exclusive for Mail on Sunday, Thomas Markle, Meghan Markle‘s father, addresses Prince Harry‘s choice that “never made sense” to him in the United States and even makes him feel outraged that he has not been treated in a respectful manner by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Thomas questioned, “Why didn’t Harry ever come to meet me?” and added, “When I reflect back on my life, as you do when you are approaching 80, that’s one of the questions I cannot find an answer for”. He also assured, “He has the resources to fly around the world—and does—but why didn’t he come to see me?” even living in the United States.
Meghan’s father questioned Harry’s honor when he asked; “What man gets married without meeting his wife’s father?” claiming that a gentleman with the principles of royalty should have gone to meet his future father-in-law before the wedding and not having done so speaks volumes about moral courage.
King Charles III has also experienced Harry’s contempt, and that is why Thomas said, “I would love to speak to him because I am sure he has as many unanswered questions as I do. Neither of us deserves the treatment we’ve received“, showing that if there is one thing they have in common, it is unresolved problems with their children.
