Director Kelsey Mann, in an interview with SensaCine, revealed that the upcoming film ‘Inside Out 3‘ could address the gap between logic and reason to continue the thrill ride that has so caught the attention of viewers to the point of becoming Pixar’s best release to date.
“I think it would be fun to have logic and reason. There’s something we can work with there“, Mann said, revealing the advice given to him by Pete Docter, the original director of the production: “You’re touching on something important, there’s a difference between brain and mind“, which brought Kelsey into perspective.
Initially, the intention was for the logic and reason to appear subtly in this installment of ‘Inside Out 2’ but Kelsey said they were removed thanks to his colleague’s advice: “A lot of the things I was saying in jokes was about the prefrontal cortex, where the logic is, and he was telling me no, I should talk like a psychiatrist and not about a physical part of the brain“.
That is why they preferred to leave that plot for a third installment of Inside Out, and there is no doubt that Disney and Pixar will be delighted to produce it since the last two productions have had pretty amazing success, and there is even talk that it could be the Toy Story of the new generation.
