The idea of Spider-Man crossing paths with Deadpool isn’t all too crazy, especially after the massive hit that Spider-Man: No Way Home was. In the film, Tom Holland shared the screen with previous Spideys, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield, so this potential team-up might just be MCU’s next blockbuster crossover.
During his chat with Total Film Magazine, the director could not help but share his excitement about the possibilty. He emphasized Deadpool’s unique personality and threw Tom Holland in the mix:
“The thing about Deadpool is I think he makes everything more interesting because of his audacity. But, boy, I’d sure love to see Deadpool and Spidey. That’s a movie I’d love to make. I feel like Tom Holland would run circles around everyone else.”
While nothing has been confirmed yet, the buzz around a potential Deadpool & Spider-Man crossover is already heating up. Levy’s comments have just added to yet another gigantic name in the MCU’s star-studded lineup, and the chances of it happening are real! However, we’ll still have to wait and see if Shawn Levy and fans’ dreams turn into reality.
