Ariana Grande breaks the silence on her viral video showing her extreme voice change

Ariana Grande, the voice behind super hits like “thank u next,” has finally addressed the buzz about her extreme vocal change! It all started after the singer was interviewed in Podcrushed when boom! She switched from a deep to a high-pitched tone, going viral on TikTok and racking up over 5 million views in just a day.

Responding to the frenzy, Ariana Grande explained that her vocal switch-ups are nothing new and that she has been doing that for quite some time.

“Habit (speaking like this for two years) and also vocal health. I intentionally change my vocal placement (high/low) often depending on how much singing I’m doing. I’ve always done this BYE.”

The clarification comes amid a busy year for Ariana Grande, who stepped back into the pop spotlight after a relatively quiet 2023. The singer dropped her latest studio album, “eternal sunshine,” and is also promoting “Wicked,” the movie she stars as Glinda. The film is set to premiere on November 27.
