After a long absence following a medical diagnosis that revealed cancer, Kate Middleton‘s return on June 14th, to be present during the official ‘Trooping the Colour‘ ceremony, in which she captivated all the royal supporters who gathered to see the future queen.
A close source told Vanity Fair, “It was the princess’s decision and hers alone“, referring to the fact that no one put pressure on the royal to make her public return, adding, “Catherine discussed the idea with William and with the king after having the okay from her medical team“.
The source also added that “Thankfully, she has been feeling much better recently, and Trooping has been something of a goal for her to work towards“, as she holds the rank of Colonel in Chief of the Irish Guards, for which she receives great responsibility in this event.
Kate Middleton knew that all eyes would be on her on her return, so she decided to wear a white Jenny Packham dress and Jimmy Choo heels, which captivated all the spectators, and her look was perfectly matched with her children’s outfits.
