Armie Hammer is an American actor mostly known for his roles in films such as “The Social Network” (2010) and “Call Me by Your Name” (2017). When the latter film got a lot of critical acclaim and Oscar nomination buzz, he became a very popular name along with his co-star, Timothée Chalamet. The actor’s success was tarnished by some very scandalous accusations involving cannibalism and abusive behaviors, and after a few years, he has finally decided to express his side of the story.
Armie Hammer became the center of controversy due to disturbing allegations of cannibalistic fantasies and abusive behavior, which surfaced in early 2021. These unverified claims led to widespread media attention and public scrutiny, significantly impacting his career and public image. The scandal also ignited more serious discussions on accountability and transparency within the entertainment industry, and the “Hollyweird” nickname gained a lot of popularity, with Hammer being the hallmark of it all.
During a recent podcast titled “Painful Lessons” where he was a guest, almost three years after the claims were brought up, Armie Hammer has finally opened up about the chaotic situation he found himself in during “There were things that people were saying about me that just felt so outlandish. Now, I’m able to sort of look at it with a sense of distance and perspective and be like. ‘That’s hilarious.’ People called me a cannibal, and everyone believed them. They’re like, ‘Yep, that guy ate people.’ You’re just like, ‘What? What are you talking about? Do you know what you have to do to be a cannibal? You have to eat people. How am I going to be a cannibal?’ It was bizarre.”
Armie Hammer’s ex Courtney Vucekovich claims he wanted to BBQ her rib and eat it:
“F*ck that was weird, but you never think about it again. He says, 'I want to take a bite out of you.' If I had a little cut on my hand he’d like suck it or lick it."

With that statement, he acknowledged the rumors but users on social media were quick to point out that he did not directly deny the claims. What do you think about this? Did you think he was a cannibal?
