The royal followers have stated over the years that the detonating factor between Prince William and Prince Harry was Meghan Markle. Now, a royal expert fueled the controversy by adding that the Prince of Wales warned his brother about Meghan Markle when they were first dating.
The royal expert, Jennie Bond, said that the Prince of Wales was right to “warn” Harry about rushing into his romance with the Duke of Sussex. She first stated that she thinks Meghan needed more time to adapt and handle the royal life, making an awkward comparison to William and Kate’s stable relationship.
“Kate was given ten years to peer into the goldfish bowl of Royal life. I think it was brilliant she saw all the restrictions and glare of publicity it brings. This is why William was correct to guide or warn Harry ‘Are you sure you’re not going a bit fast in this relationship with Meghan?’ It affronted Harry to be questioned like that but I think it came from a good place.”
Prince William’s advice might not been greatly welcomed by Prince Harry during that time and ultimately led him to step down from his royal duties with Meghan Markle in 2020. The former royal couple relocated to the United States to live a calmer life away from the royals which created a great rift between them.
