On June 15th, The Royals reporter Victoria Arbiter captured Prince William and his aunt Sophie enjoying an adorable moment on the royal balcony during the Trooping the Colour parade, demonstrating the good relationship between these members of the royal family.
Sophie approached the future heir while everyone was leaving the balcony to enter the Central Hall of the royal residence amid the end of the military event and put her hand on William’s back to show her support, which the Prince of Wales received very well and responded with a gentle smile.
Over the past few months, it has been noticeable how the full-time working royals have come together to support each other and show a united front in the family during the absence of King Charles III and Kate Middleton, who are currently undergoing cancer treatment.
William’s aunt Sophie is the wife of King Charles III’s younger brother, Edward, for whom she received the royal title of Duchess of Edinburgh and has previously shown her support for the British crown by working full time to cover the royal events and responsibilities she has acquired with her title.

It’s really lovely to see aunt Sophie’s tenderness with the Waleses 🥹
